Terms of Service
Last updated: July 22, 2026
Fairgather is an event RSVP and guest-management service operated by Codesence (“we”, “us”). By using Fairgather — as an event host or as a guest replying to an event — you agree to these terms. Questions: hello@fairgather.com.
The service
Hosts publish event pages, collect RSVPs, and manage guests; guests reply to events they were invited to. Hosts are responsible for the content of their events and for having the right to contact the guests they invite. We may suspend events or accounts that abuse the service, break the law, or endanger other users.
Accounts and content
Hosts must provide accurate account information and keep their sign-in credentials safe. Content you publish stays yours; you give us the license needed to host and display it to run the service. Don't upload content that is unlawful, deceptive, or infringes someone else's rights.
Payments
Ticket sales and donations are processed by Stripe under the host's own Stripe account. The host — not Fairgather — is the merchant of record for their event's sales, and refunds are governed by the host's own policies.
SMS Terms — Fairgather event notifications
The Fairgather event-notification text program sends guests who opt in on an event's RSVP form transactional updates about that event: an opt-in confirmation, an RSVP confirmation, event reminders, time-sensitive host updates (such as a time or venue change), and waitlist notices. No marketing or promotional messages are sent.
- Consent is optional and is never required to RSVP or to attend an event.
- Message frequency varies by event. Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe from all Fairgather texts, or START to re-subscribe.
- Reply HELP for help, or contact hello@fairgather.com.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Texts require a US mobile number able to receive SMS.
- How we handle your number and consent records is described in our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers
Fairgather is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Codesence is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves; material changes will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date. Continuing to use Fairgather after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
